WHY

WE DID IT

In 2013, we formed a seven-minute hologram performance of Umm Kulthum for a private launch event for MBC Masr in Cairo. The one-of-a-kind performance was very well-received, drawing incredible responses and enthusiasm from all attendees and industry leaders, and at that moment, a dream of producing an entire hologram concert was born.

This goal also served as part of an overarching organizational vision: To challenge our own capabilities as state-of-the-art digital content creators, as well as to defy industry norms across the region by introducing a new and unique form of entertainment.

WHAT

WE ACHIEVED

We are beyond thrilled and honored to be behind the very first hologram concert in the region and to have introduced a new form of entertainment that merges art, culture, and history with innovation, technology, and the future.

We are overwhelmed by the positive feedback that we have received, and continue receiving. We are immensely proud that we were able to not only touch people’s hearts by bringing back beautiful and sentimental memories, but also to launch this high-tech experience from the midst of our region.

THE CONCERT

The Umm Kulthum hologram concert was held in January 2019 at the Winter at Tantora music festival in the stunning ancient city of Al Ula, KSA, in partnership with MBC Group.

The concert was the centerpiece of the festivals’ impressive performance lineup and was sold out to a 500+ audience, which included regional royalty and diplomatic ambassadors. The concert was also broadcast live on MBC1 as part of a two-hour Umm Kulthum segment.

WHAT

THE FUTURE HOLDS

The possibilities are endless, and we look forward to producing hologram concerts for iconic artists, such as Abdel Halim Hafez, Talal Maddah, Wardeh, Frank Sinatra, and Bob Marley, to name a few.

Our vision is to allow people to see their idols on stage, again or for the first time, using advanced hologram technology.
